I graduated from the University of Windsor in 1986 with a degree in Criminology. In 2012, I graduated from the Backster School of Lie Detection in Kingston, Ontario.

Since 2013, I have provided polygraph consulting services and have conducted more than 500 polygraph examinations. My work has included employment-related examinations and personal matters involving a wide variety of cases.

I also operated a Private Investigator business from 2013 through 2020, providing additional experience in investigative work and dealing with sensitive information.

Backster's place in polygraph education

The Backster School of Lie Detection has a long history in professional polygraph education. Publications of the American Polygraph Association have listed the Backster School as an APA-accredited program, including listings stating that it was accredited by the APA since 1966.

This reference is to the school/program, not to the American Psychological Association. The American Polygraph Association is a separate professional organization.
